Gabriel is a seasoned business leader with an impressive 18-year tenure in the chemicals & fuels industry, Gabriel had consistently excelled in steering high-performing sales teams across the Asia-Pacific region. Before founding Chemcore Consultants, he held pivotal roles at industry giants such as Infineum, Ecolab, BASF, ExxonMobil and Shell. His techno-commercial expertise lies in transportation fuels, with a profound grasp of challenges and opportunities in land, aviation and marine segments.

He is currently holding an Adjunct Lecturer role in Singapore Polytechnic giving Sustainability Reporting courses.

Fluent in Chinese and English, and with basic proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and Korean, she effortlessly navigates diverse cultural landscapes. Through her extensive industry tenure, Audrey excels in cross-cultural business communication, forging enduring connections with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Her belief in building meaningful relationships drives her to invest energy in fostering genuine connections that transcend transactions, creating spaces where trust, collaboration, and mutual growth flourish. Mark Embleton

Mark is an oil chemistry expert with 10 years experience in Maersk. He currently leads Maersk’s lubrication strategy, overseeing product selection, usage guidelines, environmental compliance, and R&D. With a background in oil chemistry, he guides product selection and application best practices, manages the used oil analysis program, and contributes to unique product development. Mark is dedicated to reducing the industry's environmental impact, focusing on future fuel readiness, emissions, and energy efficiency. Over the years, Mark had also developed several patented lubricant technologies.

He is currently also a trainer with Chemcore Academy for Marine Lubricant related courses.

Andrea Vanara

Andrea is an ex-treasurer and banker with over 23 years of experience in Corporate Treasury and banking. He was recognized as one of Europe's top treasury professionals in 2014. In his last role as APAC Head of Treasury Advisory in Citi, Andrea has successfully led transformational projects in liquidity and risk management, banking relations, and treasury operations. Notable accomplishments include converting a captive finance company into a licensed bank and overseeing a demerger project to establish an in-house bank.

Andrea Vanara founded Sigma Octantis Corporate Treasury Consulting in 2023 after leaving the corporate banking world. The firm specializes in providing advisory services and training to enhance corporate treasury practices. As the Managing Director of Sigma Octantis, Andrea focuses on guiding treasury departments towards a digitalized and streamlined future. The firm offers advisory services, along with comprehensive training and development for client teams.
