Operations Manager (Ship Chandling)

Role

• Overseeing end-to-end operational workflows to maintain efficiency and service standards

• Liaising with clients, coordinating with internal teams, and managing vendor relationships

• Comparing quotes, evaluating supplier proposals, and leading contract negotiations

• Vetting and onboarding suppliers to ensure alignment with quality and regulatory standards

• Monitoring key performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensuring full compliance with marine safety protocols and operational regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline

• At least 5 years of operational experience, preferably in the marine or logistics sectors

• Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards

• Proficiency in workflow, procurement, and reporting tools

• Bonus: Experience managing vendor relationships in Singapore and with overseas suppliers
